HUMAN RESOURCES

The Human Resources Department of Southern California Indian Center, Inc. offers employee services to the organization’s workers, in terms of their benefits, compensation, classification, organization development, training, and other employee-related issues. It serves as a key component to the organization’s administration team, in the areas of the developing policies, hiring employees, preventing discrimination and harassment, ensuring workplace safety, and the compliance of all federal, state, and local laws. 


Mission Statement

To fill all needed and required positions, with the most qualified individuals who possess the right set of skills and experience in order to comply with all guidelines and standards set by funding sources, policies, local, state and federal laws. With the most suited candidates identified and employed with SCIC, they will be held to the deadlines, reporting duties, tasks assigned and responsibilities given to them to carry-out. Retention of employees is a key element to the success of the organization and it is the mission of this Human Resources Department to utilize a stewardship philosophy, strategic vision, and leadership in providing quality, customer-driven human resources services to support the Southern California Indian Center, Inc.
